A&A Rolling Acres

Purebred livestock / hobby farm breeding.

A&A Rolling Acres is a purebred Nubian goat farm owned and operated by Becky and Randy Arnold. Becky raises elite, nationally recognized Nubian goats with deep lineage connections to national champions. She serves goat enthusiasts, breeders, and buyers across the region who are looking for quality-bred animals from a reputable farm.

the challenge

Before Hackflo, Becky’s entire online presence was a Facebook page. There was no central place for her followers to track her herd, learn about her goats’ lineage, or stay informed during kidding and breeding seasons. With the caliber of animals she raises and the level of detail buyers need to make purchasing decisions, a social media profile alone was not enough to represent what A&A Rolling Acres actually is.

the solution

Hackflo built a full website ecosystem for A&A Rolling Acres from the ground up. The site was designed around Becky’s operation, giving her individual goat profiles with lineage documentation, a live breeding and kidding tracker, a blog for farm updates, and a self-managed backend so she can add and edit goats herself without touching a developer. Hosting was set up through Hackflo and the site launched at aarollingacres.com.

SERVICES WE USED

Website Design The site was designed to match the character of the farm and the quality of the animals. Clean, organized layouts let the goats speak for themselves while keeping buyers and followers oriented as they browse the herd.

WordPress Development The entire site was built on WordPress, giving Becky a stable, manageable platform. She can log in and handle her own content without needing to contact Hackflo every time something changes on the farm.

Custom Goat Profile and Herd Management System Each goat on the farm has its own profile page with lineage details, photos, and relevant information for serious buyers. Becky can add new animals and update existing profiles herself, keeping the herd display accurate as animals sell and new ones arrive.

Breeding and Kidding Season Tracker The site includes a live tracker that keeps followers informed of breeding pairs and due dates during kidding season. Buyers and enthusiasts can check the site to know what is coming and when, which has become a central part of how Becky communicates with her audience.

Blog Setup A dedicated blog page gives Becky a home for longer farm updates, announcements, and behind-the-scenes content beyond what a social post can hold. It keeps her followers engaged between seasons and gives her a platform sized for how much she has to say.

Website Hosting The site is hosted through Hackflo on managed VPS hosting, keeping it fast, stable, and under one roof with the rest of Hackflo’s client portfolio.

THE OUTCOME

Becky now has a professional web presence that matches the reputation she has built in the Nubian goat community. Buyers can browse her full herd, review lineage details on individual animals, and check back during kidding season without Becky having to post every update manually to Facebook. The information is always there and always current.

The site gave Becky’s operation a home base that her Facebook page never could. What she had was a following. What she needed was a place to put everything her following wanted to see. That place exists now, and it is doing the work of keeping buyers informed and engaged between posts.

Her goats sell faster than she can list them. Hackflo does not take credit for the favor on Becky’s life, but the site is part of the process. When buyers can see full lineage, track due dates, and find out what is available without hunting through a feed, the path from interested to purchased gets a lot shorter.

A&A Rolling Acres went from a Facebook page to a fully managed farm ecosystem with real infrastructure behind it. Becky handles her own updates, her followers stay informed, and the site continues to grow alongside her herd.

“Jordan was great to work with! He is very knowledgeable and patient with his creativity. He took the time to make each page on my website personable and is very attentive to details. I appreciate the time he spent to make it exactly how I wanted it. If you need branding, new logo, or web design, I highly recommend Hackflo to get the job done right!”
